When my son’s addiction was discovered, I knew nothing about drugs and had a lot to learn. I kept journals, attended support groups, and documented events to help me maneuver the emotional ups and downs. I wrote “The Last Stop” to share my experience and to help parents who are struggling to understand how addiction turned their loved one into a stranger. I live in Virginia with my husband and pup, Benji. In 2021, I was blessed with a beautiful grandson.
